Concrete Sealing Cost: Common Questions

How much does it cost to seal a concrete driveway?

Concrete driveway sealing typically ranges from $X,XXX to $X,XXX for an average 400–800 square foot driveway. This includes thorough cleaning, stain treatment, professional sealing, and our 25-year warranty. For an exact quote, schedule a free estimate.

How long does concrete sealing last?

DuraSeal penetrating concrete sealer lasts 25 years with a single application. Traditional topical sealers typically need reapplication every 1–3 years. Our penetrating technology absorbs into the concrete itself, providing protection that will not wear away from surface traffic.

Can you seal stamped concrete?

Yes. We seal all concrete types including stamped, broom-finished, exposed aggregate, and polished concrete. Stamped and decorative concrete may require specialized application techniques, which we will address during your free estimate.

Will sealing remove existing oil stains?

Sealing prevents future stains but does not remove existing ones. We include stain treatment in our prep process to minimize the appearance of existing oil stains, but heavily stained areas may still show some discoloration. The good news: once sealed, future spills wipe right off.

How soon after pouring new concrete can it be sealed?

New concrete needs to cure for 28 days before sealing. This allows the concrete to fully harden and moisture to escape. We can schedule your project accordingly – just let us know your pour date.

Will sealing prevent my concrete from cracking?

Sealing prevents freeze-thaw cracking caused by water infiltration, which is the most common cause of concrete damage. It cannot prevent structural cracking from settling, improper installation, or tree root pressure. We will note any existing structural concerns during your free estimate.

Is garage floor sealing priced differently?

Garage floors often require additional degreasing treatment due to oil accumulation, which can affect pricing. We evaluate each garage floor individually during the free estimate. The square footage rate is similar to other concrete projects.
